VOLUNTEER WITH USQ

USQ could not run without the invaluable support of volunteers. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, USQ can sign service hour verification forms, and as such, volunteering can count towards service or volunteer requirements for individuals or teams. Volunteering commitment is 2-5 hours a week, with the ability to scale week-to-week to best fit with your schedule.

INTERN WITH USQ

The US Quadball Intern Program was established to provide hands-on, working experience to students with an interest in working with an inclusive, non-profit, sports organization. The USQ Intern program provides an opportunity to learn in the fields of marketing, event planning, and/or collegiate growth with a diverse network of volunteers from across the country. Each student will work directly with their mentor in their respective department to set goals and develop their skills in their respective field. 

This position is unpaid, fully remote, and work will be completed virtually. The student will report directly to their mentor, and will be introduced to the team that they will be collaborating with for the duration of their internship. Flexibility is required as some of the team collaborators may work in other time zones. The work they complete may include working on existing projects or starting at the ground level with new department initiatives.

Requirements of USQ

  • Provide a safe and accepting work environment

  • Provide practical, real world work experience

  • Provide a dedicated mentor to set goals and guide the student

  • Provide guidance on assigned projects and tasks

  • Schedule a weekly check in with their student

  • Coordinate with students school on evaluations, where applicable

Requirements of Applicant

  • Be able to work up to 10 hours of work per week

  • Be organized and timely on deliverables

  • Ability to meet virtually with designated mentor and department team members

  • Have a passion for DEI values
