Gameplay Schedule

The collegiate round robin will take place across Saturday. The club pool play games will take place over the course of Saturday with bracket play on Sunday. All game times are in ET.

Gameplay Format

Club

The 11 club teams competing at this event will compete in a pool play format into bracket play, with pool play over the course of Saturday for teams into bracket play on Sunday. The pools were generated by creating pots based on USQ standings, and then a random number generator to create pools, before considerations for season rematches were taken into account. 2 pools of 4 and 1 pool of 3 were created for pool play games due to the lower number of fields available for club play. On Sunday, the top 2 teams from each pool will advance, and teams will be seeded into a bracket based on Day 1 performance and USQ tiebreakers. To standardize for the 3 team pool, bracket seeding will not account for games played against pot 4 teams.

The final game of Saturday will be scheduled to begin at 2pm, while the final Sunday game is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm weather permitting. Since this schedule would provide an overwhelmingly lower amount of games to teams that do not advance to bracket, consolation games may be played Sunday to provide teams a chance to reach at-large gameplay requirements. On Sunday, the bracket will decide the regional champion, in addition to the 2 club championship bids.

College

The five collegiate teams attending this tournament will compete in a full round robin over the course of Saturday. To preserve fields at this event, collegiate games will be played on one pitch at a time, alternating between field 1 and field 2 over the course of the day. At the end of the day, based on pool play results, the regional champion will be awarded, in addition to the 2 D1 and 1 D2 bids available.

Watching Online

Club games may be streamed on the USQ Twitch channel, pending weather. Additional club games as well as the collegiate division games may be recorded and uploaded to YouTube by the end of February, again weather permitting. We recommend following the Twitch channel in advance in order to receive notifications when matches go live.
