US Quadball (USQ), the national governing body for the sport of Quadball in the United States, today announced that Megan Anderson is stepping down from her role as Senior Director of Membership & Operations by the end of summer. Anderson is leaving to pursue other professional opportunities after twelve years of dedicated service to USQ.
"On behalf of the entire US Quadball community, I want to express our sincere gratitude to Megan for her tremendous contributions over the years," said Joey Galtelli, Chair of the Board of Directors of USQ. "Her passion for Quadball and commitment to growing the sport at all levels has been invaluable. While we will miss her leadership, we respect her decision and wish her all the best."
Anderson reflected, "My time at US Quadball has been incredibly rewarding. I’m thankful for the opportunity to have served this league and help advance the Quadball movement nationwide. I will cherish the friendships and memories made, and I look forward to continuing to support Quadball wherever I can."
USQ's Board of Directors has formed a search committee to identify Anderson's successor. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is vital for project management for the league and supervising membership growth initiatives among other duties.
