USQ’s fall regional championships conclude this weekend at the Bryan Multi-Sports Complex in Goldsboro, North Carolina with the 2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. This regional will see six collegiate teams and six club teams compete for the title of regional champion as well as for bids for US Quadball Cup 2023. Gameplay Schedule
The club round robin and bracket will take place across Saturday. The collegiate round robin games will take place over the course of Saturday and conclude on Sunday with the 1 pm ET game slot. Bracket will then take place during the 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm game slot. You can see the schedule here.
Gameplay Format
Club
The six club teams attending the event will be split into two pools of three. These teams will play two pool play games in the first half of the day. After the conclusion of pool play, teams will be reseeded within their pools into new ones, twos, and threes. The top team will play the second place team from the opposing pool as the first game in the club bracket, and then the winners will compete for a nationals bid and regional champion. The bottom team in each pool will play two games against each other to confirm fifth and sixth place, and the two losers of the first bracket game will play a final game to determine third and fourth place.

College
The six college teams attending this tournament will compete in a full round robin over the course of two days. At the completion of the round robin, a bracket will be formed to determine the winners of the D1 and D2 bids, in addition to a regional champion. The top five teams from round robin will be placed into the bracket below.

The 2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship is being held at Bryan Multi-Sports Complex (501 S Oak Forest Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).

Parking is free. Spectators should proceed to the merch tent (located next to HQ) to either purchase tickets or check-in to receive a wristband.
There is no spectator seating at the field so we recommend spectators bring their own chairs and blankets. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed. There is food available to purchase at the concessions pavilion.
Weather
The forecast on Saturday is sunny with a high of 55 degrees. The forecast on Sunday is mostly sunny, with a high of 48 degrees. The event will take place rain or shine, and we encourage attendees to come prepared for the weather. Pop-up tents and canopies may be set up on the grass but may not be staked into the ground or left overnight.
